The annual Santa Parade takes place tonight and the theme is Twisted night before Christmas.

The festivities get going at 7 p.m. at the parking lot at Selkirk College in Grand Forks and the procession will go down 72nd Avenue, up 2nd Street, down Market Avenue, down 4th Street finishing at the Selkirk parking lot.

Pictures with Santa Claus will be taken before the parade (between 5:30 and 7 p.m.) at the Grand Forks Credit Union and Sunshine Lanes bowling alley afterwards.

As well, many downtown businesses will be open for Moonlight Madness shopping after the parade.
