Police Report: Contents stolen from MTF Transport trailer

On Feb. 7 at 2:59 a.m., a 24-year-old Grand Forks male was arrested on 2nd Street and charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

Local RCMP say that the man had been warned before being arrested.

On the evening of Feb. 13 at 10:30 p.m., a 38-year-old Grand Forks female was apprehended on Granby Rd., driving a vehicle without due care and attention. As well as that charge, she was charged with having no insurance and no driver’s licence.

The woman’s car was impounded for seven days.

Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. saw police responding to a disturbance call and arresting a 46-year-old Grand Forks woman.

The woman was arrested on 3rd Street for uttering threats, assaulting a police officer, causing a disturbance and obstructing a police officer. RCMP say she appeared in court last Tuesday.

Feb. 14 at 3 a.m., police attended Donaldson Dr. and located a commercial trailer that had been broken into.

The trailer belongs to MTF Transport. The lock had been cut and the matter is still under investigation, so police wouldn’t release information on what was stolen.
