Pair of alleged Grand Forks arsonists appear in Nelson Court Tuesday

Andre Conn, the 31 year-old Grand Forks man charged with setting fire to Grand Forks City Hall, will remain in custody after appearing in court in Nelson on Sept. 24.

Conn’s next court appearance is Oct. 8 in Nelson.

He is being charged with break and enter, arson, possession of incendiary materials, and possession of break in instruments.

On Oct. 31, 2012, Conn was found guilty of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Christopher Cusack, who is accused of burning down the Grand Forks Hotel and damaging the Winnipeg Hotel in March of 2012, is set to appear in Grand Forks Court on Oct. 1.

Cusack was charged with two counts of arson which endangered human life, in relation to the two fires from March 7.
