A Grand Forks man has been tragically killed in a motorcycle accident south of Revelstoke.
Mark Douglas Dickson, 33, and a friend were riding motorcycles on the Crawford Forestry Service Road, an active logging road about 40 kilometres south of Revelstoke on Friday, July 4, when about 4:15 p.m., Dickson's machine collided with a northbound pickup truck. Dickson was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Dickson's family has been notified of his death, advised coroner Barb McLintock.
