Two batteries were reported stolen from a forklift parked outside a business on Second Street in Grand Forks on Nov. 27.

The batteries were described as Wal-Mart brand with cloth strap handles on them.

“The culprits actually cut the cables rather than unhooking the cables, which caused around $200 further damage,” said Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison.

There are no suspects or witnesses at this time but the investigation is still on-going.
