Mistrial declared in City Hall arson case

The judge in the case against the man accused of setting fire to Grand Forks City Hall has declared a mistrial.

The judge in the case against the man accused of setting fire to Grand Forks City Hall has declared a mistrial.Andre Conn, a 31 year-old Grand Forks native, is charged with break and entre, arson, possession of incendiary materials, and possession of break in instruments in regards to the fire on September 19.The fire caused extensive damage to the heritage building which housed much of city staff and services. City staff have had relocate and work out of different locations throughout Grand Forks as the building is repaired.The next scheduled court date for Conn, who remains in custody, is Feb. 28 in Rossland.
