Man charged with series of car thefts in Grand Forks gets jail

Jarrod Kinakin was arrested for a series of car thefts a few weeks ago and has been given jail time.

A suspect arrested for a series of car thefts a few weeks ago has been given jail time.

On Feb. 14, Jarrod Kinakin, 29, was sentenced to 120 days in jail with credit for 10 days already served.

Kinakin was arrested on Jan. 30 by Grand Forks RCMP, who also found him in possession of stolen property from break-and-enters into two residences.
