On Jan. 23, there was a break-in reported at Kootenay Car Care on Highway 3 near Grand Forks.

“Entry was gained through a basement door. The suspects turned off the power and then fled when the alarm went off,” Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison said. “Nothing was stolen, two suspects were arrested the next day and charged. They were both held in custody because of previous criminal records.”

He said that one is a 39-year-old male, the other a 31-year-old female and both were charged with break-and-enter.
