Male allegedly on meth arrested by Grand Forks RCMP near black train bridge

On March 28, Grand Forks RCMP arrested a man near the black train bridge, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

March 28 at 1:16 a.m. saw a report of a male allegedly intoxicated and possibly high on drugs at the black train bridge.

“The male was observed drinking, as he had an open can of beer with him and two other beer,” said Grand Forks RCMP's Richard Lanz. “He was arrested and lodged in a (jail) cell and was released with a violation ticket and also for being intoxicated in a public place.”

Lanz said the male was alleged to have been under the influence of methamphetamines as well.
