Amanda Thate performs at the Grand Forks Fall Fair on Saturday with her band.

There was a lot of talent on stage at the Grand Forks Fall Fair on the weekend including recording artists Stonebolt, country artist A.J. Woodworth and fiddle champ Mike Sanyshyn, but the big draw just might have been local performer Amanda Thate.

Thate performed her country songs in front of a loud, raucous crowd of family, friends and fans. The young star told the audience she was glad to be back in Grand Forks after recently moving to Vancouver to work on her career.

The fair also featured events such as the mini-chuck wagon races, gymkhana, sack races, vendors, bouncy castles and a parade through town Saturday morning.
