At 11 p.m. on July 10 at Neimi Road in Christina Lake, a number of campsites in the area saw hard liquor and beer stolen from coolers.

“That’s a seasonal thing. You get thefts from coolers,” Grand Forks RCMP Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison said.

On July 11 at 12:05 p.m., at Johnson Road at Christina Lake, at the Skands Tent and Trailer campground, a cooler containing beer from Alberta was taken.

“It was taken a couple of nights ago and there was no description of the cooler and that’s about all we know,” Harrison said, adding that police are recommending that campers lock their coolers up.
