A big hail storm hit Grand Forks on Monday afternoon and there was no reported damage save for a fire on College Road.
According to Kevin McKinnon, Grand Forks Fire Rescue assistant fire chief, lightning hit a tree during the storm and caused a small fire.
McKinnon said firefighters with water backpacks, shovels and rakes attended and the fire was put out in short order.
