On June 25 at 1:15 p.m., Grand Forks RCMP received a report that a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix was parked at the Grand Forks Credit Union parking lot and while the owner initially reported a hit-and-run, it was later learned that wasn’t the case.

“Further investigation determined that the driver of the other vehicle had actually reported to ICBC and taken fault for the collision, so it actually wasn’t a hit-and-run and was an accident with damage just under $1,000,” explained Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison.
