On June 1, a maroon coloured 1994 Plymouth Voyager van with a blue door was stolen from Atwood Road in Grand Forks.
“The complainant said the van was recently purchased for $400 (but it was) not insured,” said Grand Forks RCMP’s Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison.
The van does have licence plates on it, however, it is not registered for the current year.
“We do have suspects on the matter that we are pursuing,” said Harrison.
“Right now the ownership is under question because we believe the complainant purchased the vehicle but never transferred the ownership over. At any rate, it still is stolen because the person we believe stole it didn’t have any legal right to take the vehicle.”
