There was a disturbance outside of the City Park Seniors’ Centre on March 19, after a town hall meeting relating to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary’s animal control bylaw.
Two parties were involved, according the Grand Forks RCMP, and both parties have complained about the other.
“We are investigating the entire matter; at this point we have not come to any conclusion about recommending charges,” said Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison.
One of the parties has made complaints of harassment and the other party has made complaints of uttered threats and assault, Harrison added.
