On Jan. 15 at 2:20 a.m. police received a report of single vehicle collision with a deer on Carson Road and International Road.

Grand Forks RCMP said that the vehicle was seen blocking a lane and a half with its horn blaring.

According to Cpl. Richard Lanz of the Grand Forks RCMP, a male in the vicinity of the vehicle was found to be violating probation.

“The male was on probation to abide by a curfew and as a result, the male was arrested and lodged in a cell to appear in court later,” Lanz said.

Very early the next day, another person breaching curfew was caught by the police according to Lanz.

“On Jan. 16 at 1:20 a.m. police were on patrol in Grand Forks and observed a male riding a bicycle. This male was checked and he was on conditions to be in his residence during this period of time,” he said.

Subsequently, the male was arrested and charged with breaching curfew conditions.
