Grand Forks Gazette and Route 3 take community newspaper awards

The Grand Forks Gazette has taken home a CCNA award while Route 3 magazine has taken a Ma Murray award,

The Grand Forks Gazette and Route 3 magazine have won community newspaper awards.

The Gazette was awarded the bronze award in the 2012 Canadian Community Newspaper Awards’ (CCNA) General Excellence category (circulation 2,000 to 2,999) for Best Editorial Page.

The CCNAs celebrate the best in community publishing from across Canada and are judged by a panel of industry experts.

The Route 3 magazine team took bronze for the Special Publications Award (under 25,000) in the 2012 Ma Murray Community Newspaper Awards.

The Ma Murrays are awarded to newspapers across B.C. and the Yukon and are hosted by the B.C. and Yukon Community Newspapers Association.
