While Elections BC designated the seniors' centre at City Park as a voting station for advance polling and General Voting Day (May 14), the site has been moved to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

"Because of flooding in City Park, we are going to move the voting place for advance voting and for voters who are assigned to Grand Forks' (City Park) seniors hall on May 14," said Peter Beckett, Boundary-Similkameen district electoral officer.

Sacred Heart Church is located at 7269 Ninth Street in Grand Forks and Beckett said the same hours will apply.

"8 a.m. to 8 p.m. beginning (May 9) and Friday and Saturday, as well as May 14," Beckett said.

On May 14, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, as well as gallery 2 at 524 Central Avenue and the Gospel Chapel at 7048 Donaldson Drive will be stations where people can also vote.

On May 14, voters are asked to go to the station indicated on their yellow voter card.
