Rod Templeton led the procession at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 59 Robbie Burns Night celebration Friday evening, followed by Gord Jones carrying the haggis and Kyle Whyte following with a tray bearing Scotch whiskey for the traditional toast. Whyte then poured while Grand Forks’ pipe major Steve McGibbon, Trail’s pipe major Gord Titsworth, Templeton and tables full of people looked on. Titsworth delivered the traditional address, To a Haggis. A great meal and a lot of fun capped the evening.
