It’s single knock-out time at the Grand Forks International (GFI) Baseball Tournament at James Donaldson Park. After some fierce action in the round-robin, eight of the 12 teams have advanced to the quarter-final money round.

Thurston Country Senators took the field at 11 a.m. against the Parkland White Sox; One of the top favourites, Seattle Studs, face North West Honkers at 2 p.m.; Langley Blaze are on the field at 5 p.m. against the Everett Merchants; and, in the nightcap, the Burnaby Bulldogs square off against the Lacey Saints.

The four winners advance to Monday’s semi-final. The four losers are finished!!
