Don't forget about Moonlight Madness shopping with Grand Forks' Santa Parade

The Santa Parade is taking place this Friday in Grand Forks and will also be a chance for holiday shopping.

With Grand Forks’ annual Santa Parade taking place this Friday, it will be a chance for some holiday cheer and for locals to do some holiday shopping as well.

Moonlight Madness shopping will be running along with the parade and a number of downtown businesses will be open late.

“Mountain FM will be on location and stores will be open until 9 p.m.,” explained Work n Play’s Dale Best. “Some of the stores will be serving hot chocolate and goodies and the stores will all have Christmas specials on,” she said.

There will be pictures with Santa Claus at 278 Market Ave., next to New West Trading from 4 to 7 p.m.

“The parade starts at 7 p.m. so this all works together,” Best explained. “The Moonlight Madness and the parade are one event.”

Again, it all takes place this Friday.
