The couple accused of drug trafficking, Scott Fleming Powers and Diane Marie Green Powers, were in court last week.

Scott Fleming Powers’ case has been adjourned over to March 10 to fix a date for trial, while Diane Marie Green Powers applied to have her case separated from the original case on Feb. 17.

The two, from Republic, Wash., were in a van that had 83 kilos of cocaine concealed in stow and go compartments.

They were passing through the Carson Port of Entry back on Dec. 16.
