Where to vote

Eligible electors will be able to vote on advanced polling at the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) office in Grand Forks (City and Area D) and the Christina Lake Community Hall (Area C) on Nov. 16, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

General voting day is Nov. 19 and polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Dr. D. A. Perley Elementary School in Grand Forks (City and Area D) and the Christina Lake Community Hall (Area C) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Also, voters need not vote for the full slate of candidates. In cases like candidates for the City of Grand Forks councillors, they can vote for up to six.

1. Are you in favour of the City of Grand Forks Council adopting the City of Grand Forks Emergency Water Supply for Fire Protection Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 1922, 2011 to authorize the borrowing of a maximum of $1.3 million ($1,300,000) for emergency water supply for fire protection, using a 25-year debt term?

2. Are you in favour of the City of Grand Forks Council adopting the City of Grand Forks Capital Renewal Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 1923, 2011 to authorize the borrowing of a maximum of $4.2 million ($4,200,000) for the capital renewal of road, water and sewer infrastructure, using a 25-year debt term?
