Boundary Lodge residents were pleased to get a surprise letter recently, althought they didn’t know the letter writers personally.
The residents at the senior’s home had released balloons with attached notes, inviting those who found the balloons to write back with the location and when the found it.
On Sept. 19, the residents got a letter from a couple in Arrow Lakes, about45 minutes from Nakusp. Quite the distance for a balloon to travel!
The residents are still hoping to receive more responses in time, but were just thrilled to get this first one back.
