On July 15 at 1:36 p.m., there was a report, at Christina Sands Estate at Christina Lake, of a theft from a motor vehicle. A bike was stolen, as well as a GPS (global positioning system) device, an iPod and $80.
“Witnesses at the scene stated that there was a suspect described as a male, 18 to 20 years of age, wearing dark shorts and a white and orange-striped hoodies,” Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison explained, adding that immediate patrols were made to locate a suspect of that description.
Police are still investigating and asking for the assistance of anyone who may have seen anything at that time.
