While real competition heats up between the Grand Forks Border Bruins and Beaver Valley Nitehawks, a friendly one is happening off the ice between the politicians representing the communities. The Mayors and RDKB directors of the regions have entered into a bet, wheras the mayor and director of the losing team’s community has to wear the winner’s jersey to a council/director’s meeting.
