A faux bank robbery at the CIBC bank during Wild West Day had downtown hopping as four robbers on horseback galloped down Market Avenue and knocked over the bank. With police in hot pursuit, the robbers strode away with a pair of money bags.
The staged event was part of Grand Forks Downtown Business Association's Back to the Wild West Day which featured plenty of fun events including road hockey, music, farmer's market, horse and buggy rides, campfire karaoke, and more.
