On July 27 at 10:06 a.m., there was a report of a motor vehicle accident between a grey 2004 Honda Accord and a 2010 white Subaru at the intersection of Highway 3 and Granby Road.

“Apparently, a local resident pulled out from that intersection and smashed into another vehicle that was heading west bound on Highway 3. It caused significant damage to both vehicles as a result,” explained Grand Forks RCMP’s Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison.

He said that a 40-year-old female from Grand Forks (driving the Accord) was charged with failing to yield the right of way.

Fortunately there were no injuries.
