View Aug. 5 motorcycle and SUV accident in a larger map
On Aug. 5 at 1:45 p.m., there was a collision between a red 2010 Nissan X-Terra and a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle, with the motorcycle rear-ending the SUV.
“Apparently the SUV stopped rather quickly and the motorcycle couldn’t stop in time and collided with the rear of the vehicle,” said Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison. “This happened at Highway 3 and Kingsley Road in Christina Lake.”
There were minor injuries to the motorcyclist, a 62-year-old male from Penticton, B.C., and damage to motorcycle and the SUV.
