Plink and purr on Grand Forks' disc golf course

Disc golf grounds see human and animal players hit the course for weekend games.

The Disc Golf course in the west end of Grand Forks is once again becoming a lively spot for enthusiasts of the sport as temperatures warm up, for both human and animal players.

The pet-friendly grounds saw the "foursome" of Ross Brown, with his caddy Ylevol (lovely spelled backwards), David Bennet and Jared Downer tossing discs into the baskets on Saturday. Brown said Ylevol is always up for a disc golf game, as it means a chance to get out and meet fellow furry caddies on the course. The Disc Golf course is free and open to all members of the public, but bring your own discs.
