The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign was a sweet success in Grand Forks this year.

A news release stated the city’s franchise raised $4,330 in support of the Grand Forks–Boundary/Kootenay Boundary (KB) Health Foundation.

From April 28th-May 4th, the Tim Hortons Smile Cookies were bought up by hundreds of customers, with 100 per cent of the proceeds staying in the community.

This year’s proceeds will directly support healthcare initiatives in the Boundary region.

"We extend our deepest thanks to our loyal guests, for their continued support and generosity, our dedicated team members, for their energy and commitment, our incredible volunteers including local businesses, and community members who rolled up their sleeves to decorate cookies and help with collections", said Grand Forks Tim Hortons owner and operator of Nicole MacMillan. “We appreciate the community's support in helping ensure quality care is available close to home for families, seniors, and residents across the region.”
