The Grand Forks Skatepark was buzzing with activity May 15 as kids and adults hit the newly-expanded facility on bikes, skateboards and scooters to try out the brand new section on the east side with new ramps, obstacles and tabletops to add space and new challenges. completed the concrete pouring, new obstacles and ramps on the east side of the park in the second week in May. Landscaping on the edges has yet to be completed, but the park itself is open for users to try it out.
