As Canada turned 158 years old on July 1, the Boundary communities joined the rest of the country in celebrating the nation's history and values with grand parades, free events, music, food and games. Grand Forks and Midway held their annual celebrations, with their own unique features, including plenty of vendors, music and good company, with Midway doing the same, including their always popular free community dinner, beer gardens and fireworks.
