Scott Woods is bringing his show to Grand Forks on June 11.

Multiple Canadian Open and Grand Master Fiddle Champion Scott Woods and his band will soon be in Grand Forks with an incredible live old-time fiddle variety show called Swingin’ Fiddles.

The show features music from the ‘20s to the ‘50s, including swing, big band, pop standards, country, gospel and plenty of old time fiddling.

Three fiddlers playing in harmony, sensational step dancing, trick fiddling and home-spun family humour make this a show not to be missed.

Scott Woods was the musical director and played the part of Don Messer in Memories of Don Messers Jubilee that toured extensively throughout Canada for several years.

He now travels across the country every year helping to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for churches, charities and other community service groups by way of these old time fiddle variety shows.  Scott is affectionately known throughout many parts of the country as “The Flippin’ Fiddler” as he does a front running somersault while playing without missing a beat.

The Scott Woods Show Swingin’ Fiddles will be presented on June 11 at 7 p.m. at Grand Forks Secondary School as part of a cross Canada tour.

Tickets are only $20 for adults, $10 for kids aged six to 12 years and kids five and under get in free.

Advance tickets are on sale now at Thistle Pot Gifts in Grand Forks or by calling toll free 1-855-726-8896 to charge. Complete tour schedule available at www.scottwoods.ca.
