The Grand Forks Gazette and the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy (CBAL) are teaming up for the Reach a Reader event next week.
On Oct. 5, between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., there will be seven locations around town – Buy-Low Foods, Overwaitea, Grand Forks Credit Union, Jogas, Kokomo’s, The Gazette office and the post office – where copies
of the newspaper will available by donation.
Amongst the sales people, Grand Forks’ Mayor Brian Taylor and members of city council, Grand Forks Border Bruin players, people from community literacy organizations and Gazette staff.
All funds raised will go towards CBAL’s community literacy programs in Grand Forks.
