During the first two weeks in July, Clive Langton, a director of the Raw Food Society of BC (RawBC), will be touring the B.C. Southern Interior giving health presentations.

He will be in Grand Forks on Monday, July 9, with the event taking place in the boardroom at the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary building (2140 Central Ave.) from 7 to 9 p.m.

RawBC is a non-profit society promoting health through eating more living foods and has been experiencing increased growth, as people in B.C. have been realizing that there are beneficial and natural ways to increase one's health by making some simple changes.

Given that our medical paradigm is overstretched trying to deal with the increased sickness and diseases, people are looking to make the necessary changes.

Disorders such as obesity, diabetes, arthritis, cancers, heart disorders and inflammations can all be diminished by making healthy choices.

At the stops along the Raw Tour route, Clive Langton will facilitate interactive presentations, during informal get-togethers with health-interested people in the local communities.

The objective of the get-togethers is to share our health journey, by identifying our health challenges and achievements.

It will be an enjoyable and beneficial experience for those attending.
