On Sept. 12, members of the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Parish will be going door to door as part of a Thanksgiving food drive put on by food banks across B.C.
They will drop off brochures from the Boundary Community Food Bank listing the types of goods they need, attached to empty grocery bags. Those who wish to donate need simply fill the bag with whatever they can spare and leave it on their doorstep on the morning of Sept. 19.
The Knights will pick up the bags starting at 9 a.m. and take them to the food bank.
the Knights will try to get to as many homes as possible, but if you want to participate and are afraid you might be missed, please call Andy Stefanelli at 250-584-4030 to make sure you are included.
