Grand Forks Piranhas hosting magic show fundraiser

Grand Forks Piranhas hosting magic show fundraiser, Stage Fright The Thrillusion Show on Oct. 20.

Stage Fright The Thrillusion Show, is being hosted by the Grand Forks Piranhas Swim Club as a fundraiser.

Two shows will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, one at 4 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m. at the Grand Forks Secondary School auditorium.

Kids love this stuff! The show is crammed with 90 minutes of creepy, crawly, icky, yucky, spooky magic for the whole family and promises to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

This is a Halloween-themed Thrillusion show mixing magic and music, dance and theatre that is both hilarious and hair-raising.

The show is the brainchild of master illusionist John Kaplan, who stars in the production along with a cast of dancers and an assortment of spooky special guests.

Kaplan has been touring Canada for nearly 20 years and his family magic shows have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars for schools and community groups all across the country.

The Piranhas want to thank all of the local businesses that have already provided support by purchasing ads in the magic show program.

Advance tickets are available by calling 250-442-4054 or at the Overwaitea on Saturday, Oct. 13 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Both shows are expected to sell out, so it is recommended you get your tickets early. A limited number of family passes (four for $25) are also available.

Tickets are $8 for children and $12 for adult.
