Grand Forks mechanic Jim Hartley having hair 'razing' adventure on Daffodil Day

Local mechanic Jim Hartley will have his hair cut in a cancer research fundraising benefit event tomorrow (Saturday, Daffodil Day).

Local mechanic Jim Hartley will be taking part in a Relay for Life hair cutting event tomorrow at noon on Market Avenue in Grand Forks.

Local mechanic Jim Hartley will have his hair cut in a cancer research fundraising benefit event tomorrow (Saturday, Daffodil Day) near Yaky Jacquie’s Café on Market Avenue at noon.

Hartley currently has about $1,700 in pledges and wants to get to $2,000, with all proceeds going to the Relay for Life.

He has been growing his hair for three years in honour of friends he lost to cancer.
