Grand Forks’ local bridge club held a dinner and presented the winners of the Archer Davis Cup recently.
It was the 49th year that the tournament has been held for the local cup.
The tournament ran from October to December with a culmination of points over an eight-week period.
This year’s winners are Peter Dixon and Harry Sherstobitoff, with a grand total of 35,770 points.
In second place were Bernie Peterson and Doug Harvey with 35,040 points and third place finishers were Eileen and Fraser Anderson, with a total of 31,640 points.
The evening was enjoyed by all and a heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped put together an excellent dinner.
