Girls in Action (Pioneer Clubs) held its annual club day with an open house recently at the Gospel Chapel in Grand Forks.
Girls and guides gathered in the gym and showed their parents and friends what they had been doing with their respective groups. Handicrafts were displayed at special tables.
Everyone enjoyed refreshments brought by Pals (adult mentors).
Parents visited and wandered around the gym to see the displays.
At halftime, the girls sat down by a fake bonfire and sang camp songs, led by Linda Martens.
It was a different format than from other years but all enjoyed the informal and casual get-together and Pastor Henry Klassen made the closing remarks.
