Hi Grand Folks!

I’ve got a lot to say, so I’m going to get right to it:

Storytime is back!

Come on down to the library for our weekly story times – Fridays at 10:30 to 11 a.m. We’ve got rhymes, songs, stories, and more.

Dealing with stress

Join Sally Caisley for another of her wonderful Learn @ Lunch workshops for seniors. Feb. 15 at noon – refreshments will be served.

Fabulous Fridays

Fridays are inherently somewhat fabulous but even more so on Feb. 22, when we will have a family-friendly afternoon of activities from 1 to 3 p.m.

Come for the board games, the Xbox 360 Kinect, the crafts, the snacks, or the chess. All ages welcome!

Romance and chocolates

Dani Collins, Christina Lake’s very own romance writer, will be at the library on Feb. 23 (3 to 4:30 p.m.) for an author reading and workshop on “Writing and Publishing Your Novel.”

Chocolates by local chocolatier Rosie Gartner will be available for sampling and then, inevitably, for purchasing.

Adult Knitting Club

It’s finally here! Saturday afternoons from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. (starting Feb. 23).

Needles and wool provided but you can bring your own materials if you’d rather.

All levels welcome, from beginner to advanced. Happy knitting!

The Cat’s Table ...

... is the name of the book we’ll be reading for our February book club. Feb. 28 (1:30 p.m.) at the library in Grand Forks, and Feb. 27 (7 p.m.) at the Christina Lake location (at the Living Arts Centre).
