Hi folks!
Here’s what’s going on at the library:
Book sale
It’s almost here! Starting this Thursday (April 25) at 10 a.m. (come be a part of the lineup), and wrapping up on April 27 at 3 p.m. is the Friends of the Library book sale. We’ve got books for all ages, fiction and non-fiction and it’s all by donation.
Fabulous Friday
We’ll be having another of our popular all ages Fabulous Friday events this Friday (April 26) from 1 to 3 p.m. – come for the snacks, stay for the chess, board games, crafts, or the Xbox360.
Mary, Mary quite contrary
How does your garden grow? If you’re Val Rich, it grows really, really well. Join her at the library on May 2 at 6:30 p.m. for an informal conversation on all things gardening. Everyone welcome – refreshments will be served.
Permaculture
You know that feeling you get when it’s noon and you’ve been gardening all day and you need a break? Here’s what you do – just come on down to the library on May 9 at 12:30 p.m. for a Learn at Lunch talk on permaculture; it’s all about growing your own food, building natural homes, restoring ecosystems, catching rainwater, and building community. Sarah Orlowski, from Filbelly Forest, will be presenting an informative slideshow of her permaculture studies in Nicaragua.
