Thumbs Up: To Roxul for moving forward to get rid of the blue haze in our beautiful valley so that everyone who comes here can see what a beautiful, clean city and valley we live in.
Thumbs Down: To all the people who insist on backyard burning.
Thumbs Up: To everyone who takes their debris to the landfill rather than contaminating the air and severely impacting people with lung disease.
Thumbs Down: To the people that burn off their fields and garbage and choke out the rest of the neighbourhood with their smoke.
Thumbs Up: To the Gospel Chapel choir who sang the Hallellujah chorus Saturday morning at the produce department at Overwaitea, especially as this was Easter weekend, it was glorious and a surprise also.
Thumbs Down: To pet owners, particularly on the Riverside Drive walking path, that allow their dogs to run loose and jump on people.
Thumbs Up: To the GEM Theatre for being a part of the community for so long.
Thumbs Down: To drivers who do about 40 kilometres descending the Highway 3 hill into Grand Forks. While no one is asking you to fly down the hill, no one is telling you to crawl down the hill either.
Thumbs Up: To the warmer weather we’ve been experiencing. It’s nice to walk around in shorts again.
