KIJHL: Bruins take series lead with thrilling double overtime win over Castlegar

Bruins take series lead with thrilling double overtime win over Castlegar at home Friday. Austin Dean gets the game winner assisted by Logan Casavant and Trey Mason for the 3-2 win putting Grand Forks up two games to one in the best of seven.

Shayne Pluto and Chad Grambo scored the Bruins other goals, both in the second period after a scoreless but physical first period.

Emery Olauson was honoured before the game as coach of the year in the Neil Murdoch Division, as well Anthony Galliart was honoured for top goalie. Both were honoured just before the game.

Game four goes tonight (Saturday) in Grand Forks at the Jack Goddard Memorial Arena.
