At the recent spaghetti feed fundraiser at Christina Lake, the food was wonderful but the beer selection was disappointing.
There was not one local brand available. We have two local breweries (Nelson and Vernon), both producing a great naturally-brewed beer.
While locals support our Christina Lake neighbours, the organizers supported multinational breweries. When asking for community support we should support local business.
