Margaret Catherine (Rita) Robertson, born December 31, 1926, passed away January 21, 2015. Rita lived a full and active life and she lived it “her way”. Unfortunately, the quality of her final years was taken from her when she was afflicted with dementia/Alzheimer disease. Rita was predeceased by her father, Malcolm Finlayson (1961); mother, Margaret (Peggy) Finlayson (nee Blair) (1966); and by her husband John (1995). In keeping with Rita’s wishes, she was cremated. There will be a graveside service at the Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Forks later in the spring at which time Rita’s ashes will be laid to rest next to her husband John. The date and time of the service will be announced.
