LUCY OZEROFFLucy Ozeroff passed away peacefully on March 23, 2010, with her son, Bill at her side. She was born on December 23, 1924, to parents, Bill and Mary Dubosoff. Lucy is predeceased by her parents, Bill and Mary Dubosoff; brothers: Mike, Bill and Peter Dubosoff; sisters: Helen Dubosoff, Helen Soukoroff and Polly Verigin; and by her beloved daughter, Helen Kabatoff.
Lucy is lovingly survived by sons, Bill and John Ozeroff of Grand Forks; son-in-law, Joe Kabatoff of Nakusp; grandson, Kevin (Carolyne) Kabatoff of Kamloops; granddaughter, Lisa (Tony) Bjarnason of Nakusp; sister, Vera Soukoroff of Castlegar; great-grandchildren: Kimberly, Kyle, Tasha and Jake; and many nieces and nephews.Her devotion to God, generosity of heart, and comical nature is imprinted in all of us, today and always. She will remain forever in our hearts.
A funeral service was held at the USCC Community Centre on March 26, 2010.The family would like to thank all of you for the support and expressions of sympathy during this difficult time. A special thank you to Helen Vereschagin for all you have done for Lucy and for the family.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ISKRA in memory of Lucy. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Baker family of Grand Forks Funeral Home.
