We are saddened to share that Helen Kisling of Calgary, Alberta, (formerly of Grand Forks, B.C.) passed away at the Southwood Care Centre in Calgary, on December 29, 2011. Born on December 8, 1927, in Kylemore, Saskatchewan, Helen was the third of four children of John W. and Annie Soloveoff. Predeceased by her husband Eddie, her parents, sister Mabel and brother Pete, she is survived by her daughter Sherre (Mark) Lapointe of Kamloops, B.C., brother Fred of Grand Forks, and dear companion, Robert Campbell of Calgary.

A funeral service was held at the Grand Forks Funeral Chapel on January 4, 2012, with interment following in the Sion Doukhobor Cemetery at Grand Forks. Grand Forks Funeral Home kindly and respectfully took care of arrangements. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to the USCC ISKRA Publication or the USCC Website.

We give thanks to family and friends who were with us to share our grief; your love and support is deeply appreciated. Your thoughtful donations and words of compassion were a comfort in helping us accept our loss. We are especially grateful to Jerry Seminoff and and J. J. Verigin Jr., whose support and introspective words were of great consolation. Special thank you to Dorothy and Eli Popoff and Molly Sofonoff.
