GEORGE LYNN TRALNBERG

George Lynn Tralnberg, aged 54 years, passed away late in the evening on August 22, 2010, at Boundary Hospital. George had resided in Grand Forks for most of his life. He had survived cancer twice before, but has lost his current battle.

George was born at Uranium City, Saskatchewan, in March of 1956 to George Tralnberg Sr. and Janet Tralnberg (deceased). He is also survived by his lifelong partner, Jan of Grand Forks; sons: Corey (Erin) of Grand Forks, Adam of Calgary, Tyson (Trisha) of Prince George, Brady and Connor of Grand Forks; one sister, Linda of Innisfail, Alberta; two brothers: Dennis (Mavis) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, and Gordie of Fort McMurray, Alberta; and his grandchildren: Rebekah, Hayden and Naomie.

George enjoyed hunting and fishing, and any kind of outdoor activities. He liked spending time with his five boys doing these same activities. He also enjoyed going for coffee in the morning with his wide group of friends. George enjoyed helping others in any way he could.

The memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church at 2495 76th Avenue (behind the Boundary Hospital) at Grand Forks on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 10 a.m.

George will be loved and dearly missed by all. Services were entrusted to the Baker family of Grand Forks Funeral Home.
